GELL Coaching 34 Field Setup- In spring 2017, GELL adopted small ball field dimensions for 34 games. This document provides details on how to set up the field for 34 games.
GELL Rules 2021 *- GELL League Rules and Regulations for members (2021)
GELL Rules Matrix 2019 *- GELL recommends that all programs print and laminate this one page "GELL Rules Matrix" quick reference and place it at the game table for use by the table crew and referees. This matrix outlines key rules including any differences between USL/NFHS rules and GELL rules.
GELL Scorekeeper Training 2019 *- Share this PowerPoint slidedeck with your program's families to help them learn the scorekeeper, timer, and spotter roles. Also, see the recorded training session under the Video tab on the homepage.
NFHS Boys Lacrosse Rules Book (2017)- When you renewed your US Lacrosse registration, you received a copy of the NFHS Boys Lacrosse Rules Book. If needed, additional copies can be purchased online from NFHS. Since NFHS does not provide free access to their rule book, either printed or online, we are not able to host it on the league website. This book is written with the referee in mind so it can be difficult to read.
Terms for Referees *- Terms and Conditions for officials that work GELL games
US Lacrosse Boys Youth Rule Book (2017) *- US Lacrosse publishes the Boys Youth Rule Book, which breaks the rules out by age group. In Washington State, the boy's youth leagues align their divisions by grade level rather than age level. For example, the 7/8 division follows the U15 rules which US Lacrosse renamed to 14U in spring 2017. U15 means "under 15" and 14U means "14 and under", thus they are equivalent. This book is written with the parent in mind so it is an easy read.
